To God With Love

It’s no secret that in today’s society there is one thing that we all need (besides Jesus) and that is money. Money allows us to pay for things that we need and also that we want. It allows us to buy food for our families, to buy cars to transport our families, purchase a roof to put over our families head, gas for said car, clothes to put on our families among many other things.

However, although we need money we cannot allow this need for money to take over our minds, to take over our lives or to cause us any kind of stress or frustration; because you know what?

God’s got it.

God is the one who is able to provide for everyone of our needs. If I had to bet my money on anyone, it’d be on Him. God knows exactly what we need and He knows exactly how to provide for those needs. He won’t send us anywhere or tell us to do anything with out first making the provisions for it.

All we have to do is go to Him and talk to Him about it. Go to Him and tell Him what you need (he already knows but it doesn’t hurt to tell him again. right?)

Anyway, here are a few scriptures about God’s provisions.

Proverbs 3:9-10

“Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be abundantly filled and your vats will overflow with new wine.”

Matthew 6:33

“But first and most importantly seek His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you also.”

Philippians 4:19

“And my God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Deuteronomy 28:12

“The Lord will open for you His good treasure house, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow.”

And lastly, 2 Corinthians 9:8

“And God is able to make all grace come in abundance to you, so that you may always have complete sufficiency in everything, and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.”

A prayer for God’s provisions and financial assistance.

Dear God,

No matter what i’m going through, I know that you have always and will always be my provider. You know every strand of hair on my head so I know that you know what i’m going through and what I need. At this moment I come asking for a financial breakthrough, some assistance with my finances. I ask that you would bless me in abundance, allow me to have more than enough. So much so that I can help people even out of my overflow. Please continue to provide for me and my family and allow me to be able to provide for others. Give me the wisdom to listen to your voice as you tell me what to do with the financial assistance that you provide to me. Allow me to not squander it and use it for useless things but allow it to build up your kingdom. Let there be no lack, worry of lack or anxiety. Release my mind from he worry and open it up to focusing on knowing that there is nothing that is too hard for you. Thank you in advance,
