The book of Revelation chapter 22-Amplified Version-Thoughts after the verses

Chapter 22, the final chapter in the book of Revelation. The perfect life, a life where death, sin and illness are gone. Nothing is cursed, everyone lives forever in peace and daily worship of God. There is a river of the water of life flowing down the middle of the street and the tree of life is on either side of it. The tree of life bears a different fruit each month of the year so twelve different fruits all year. And God illuminates everywhere so there is no need of sunlight or lamps. I can picture it, can you? It looks like the most serene and peaceful place, and I definitely want to go there.

We are invited to be Blessed and experience this. Through belief in Jesus and the listening to and following of God’s word, we can live with God forever in peace after the tribulation period. Doesn’t that sound amazing? All we have to do is come to Jesus.

It ends with a warning to not add or take away anything from the book of Revelation. If you do then plagues will be added to you or your share from the tree of life will be taken away. So either you will experience the plagues and go to hell or you will no longer be able to experience life forever with God and eat from the tree of life and essentially go to hell. That’s my take on it.
